corner fireplace in unit takes some time to put together. I'd say at least 1 hour. the hearth had a problem when first plugged in, the fan heater sounded like a sneaker in the dryer (clunk, clunk). We removed the back panel and found that shipping through a metal plate had fallen on a rotating part. We pushed back into place and the drive is working fine. It looks really nice flat tv screen and holding a dvd player and cable components fits perfectly
