I finally put this as a mantel over my fireplace. I wish they had better hardware to keep it safer. I had to go to a hardware store and get some masonry screws and a latch to make sure it was nice and tight. the black finish is great and I am thrilled that I can put my candles on the Mantel. great addition to any fireplace.
