I ordered this shelf unfinished to make sure I had the right splash of color to match the rest of my stamping. I noticed a rather long scratch along the top of about 3 inches, but you couldn't hear with your finger. sanded and lightly without results. my boy mason was coming the next day, so I went ahead and conditioning, stained, sanded, polished and polyed again. Scratchcards still shows. I strategically place a candle on it. disappointed that was shipped in this way. But
